(1st Edition). vii + 373pp with 8 b/w illus, fold-out map of Somerset to rear, indexes of place and personal names, and list of subscribers. Limited edition of 300 copies, this being No.29. A very scholarly work which is a considerable expansion of articles which appeared in the 'Bristol Times & Mirror' (the first of which was published 9 years previous to this book) ; personal names are also analysed. This book is hard-to-find nowadays, and much sought after due to the lengthy derivation of each name that is offered by the author. Very good cond ; regret no dustwrapper (as issued?). 9 x 5 3/4 inches £140.00 This page is still under construction and will be updated frequently.
